Top 5 Wednesday| 16/11/2016

This challenge (or meme) was created by Lainey. You can join the Goodreads group here.

This week’s topic is:

Favorite Publishers – I thought this topic would be a cool way to examine what we read and what publishers put out our favorite books. I encourage you to take a look at your shelf and figure out which books come from which publishers. I think you’d be surprised how many probably end up coming from the same publishing house! Plus, this is your chance to introduce us to some of your favorite small presses or imprints. We talk about the contents or the wrappings of books a lot in this group, but rarely do we talk about the people that bring them together.

I will include only books that I’ve read this year. This way people might find out about books they didn’t know exist 😛

1. Grunge Bookz

Great book. One of the few NA novels that I liked. It’s quite graphic and deals with plenty of topics, such as: mental health, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, wannabe porn star, demons, a book that curses people etc. It’s not out yet, it will be published in March 2017.

You can read the blurb and add it to you Goodreads TBR here.

2. Feiwel and Friends

My favorite dystopian novel. You can read my review here, and you can add the book on Goodreads here.

3. Manhattan House Publishing & Media

This is a new release. It was published last month. I’m still reading it, but so far I like it. You can read the blurb here.

4. Harvest House

One of my favorite historical series. You can read the blurb here (1st book).

5. Self-Published

A nice little book about a 13 year old girl with a vivid imagination! It was a really great read, and I recommend it to everyone who likes children’s literature. Review to come 😉

You can read the blurb here.
